Pinterest

I have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest.  I have gotten so many great ideas from there its crazy, but there is also so much I want to do from there, I don't have the time or money to do.

So... went biking yesterday and went hiking with the kids today.  I also weighed again this morning just out of curiosity and I lost another 1lb!  Whoot!  My real weigh ins are Mondays though.

Here is me after my hike today.  So... down almost 13lbs.  I want to lose at least 22 more.



So I tried this new recipe for Zucchini pizzas!  OMG!  Amazing,  tons of food and tastes awesome.  Also,  the whole zucchini with toppings is under 350 calories.  Score!!!

New love!!!

I got a really awesome Moving Comfort Bra today.  It actually cute and does the job.



Scale still saying my 10lb loss, but I finally got a workout in today after almost 2 weeks. I went on a 13 mile bike ride with a girlfriend. Felt nice to get moving again.  I will do the same tomorrow,  Sunday,  Monday... and the list goes on.  Thank you Summer.  my obligations have lessened!  Of course, I am hoping to start another course June 4th, but I am not sure fi I can get in it... so we shall see.

I have lost another 1/2 inch in my waist, hips and thighs though.  Hallelujah!!

My babies are growing up!!!

Audrie and Katlynn graduated from preschool today.  They start their Kindergarten Journey in August.  Time flies!

Dave and I did a 4 mile run today.  Prepping for the Long Beach Half in a few months.  I didn't lose any poundage this week (probably because my eating was not completely in check with how busy I was), but I did lose .5 in my waist and in my hips. I guess that is progress, right!  Screw the scale!  lol.. Just kidding, I need it to keep me in check too.

Argh!!!

I have not worked out since Monday.  It's driving me insane, but I have so much going on the next few days, I don't even know when I will get a workout in.

I wish I could just snap my fingers and make myself a size 7 now.  I am so impatient, but I know it will take time to get where I want to be. I have still been eating pretty clean all week which is why I have not gained, but I have not lost really either.  Boo... I need to up my water intake more.  I am hoping to be down at least 1lb come Monday.  Crossing my fingers that mindful eating and just running around like mad will do that trick.

Oh... Still no word on the house.  Patiently waiting.  Our Realtor is out of town til Tues... It's killing me.  I have big plans for this house already. I am envisioning what we will do to make it our home for the next many years.  lol.  But if we don't get it, the search will just continue.  I am not going to let that 4% interest get away from me.

Birthdays...

Tomorrow is my fabulous husband's birthday and Tuesday was the Twinkies birthday!  So proud of my girls.  Audrie is now tying her own shoes,  and she is reading at a very high Kinder level to the point where she is almost at a 1st grade level.  Katlynn is doing awesome too.  Halle got Honor Roll again and that makes every trimester this year.  It went by way too fast.  I will have a 5th grader and 2 kinders.  Crazy!!

Anyhow,  we went to Disneyland Tues with friends for the kids Bday.  We played hookie from school.  Had a great time and actually got a pretty good family picture out of it.

Mini Update

Well I am on C25k week 3 day 3.  I feel like I should already be running the 7-8 miles I was before.  Such a bummer I am starting from scratch again.

Trying to remember it takes twice as long to take the weight off as it does to put it on.  I have lost 8lbs in 3.5 weeks or so.  My scale was sort of messed up and I have to replace the battery, so it might be way off.  I will post my current weight come Monday.

I can for sure tell my clothes are getting looser.  I was also told by 2 people I look thinner... so the hard work is starting to pay off.

I decide to let my hair grow about 4-5 more inches and leave it for a while before I chop it again.  I think when I hit my goal weight, that's when I will chop it again.

I have still only missed the gym 2x's in 24 days.  Not too shabby.

Here is my results for the past 2.5-3 weeks.

I lost at least an inch to 1.50 inches everywhere, but my bust and arms.
I have lost 8lbs now but still have at least 35 to go.

In case you don't know, I went from being 161 in August 2009 back to my pregnancy weight with the twins (well almost) at 192 the beginning of April 2012.  It slowly creeped up on my back in 2011 when Dave was sick and so much was going on and it continued to creep up.  Luckily, I am pretty tall, so I carry weight well, but I could totally tell in my middle section and, well just everywhere I was getting fat.  Simple as that.  My clothes were getting tight and I was gaining, and gaining and just gaining.  I was not working out at all even though I had done the 1/2 Marathon in Feb and I was mindlessly eating.

I finally came to realization I have to change my habits.  I don't have a goal of being a fitness model or even wearing a bikini again, I just want to lower my body fat and be fit and comfortable in a size 5/6. I will never be a size 3/4.  I have too big of a build for that, but a 5/6 would be amazing.

So you see... I have a long way to go.  Luckily, I have friends who want to workout and Dave's supportive.

I will get there for sure.

 I am on day 10 of the gym.  Whoop!  Hoping for at least a 3lbs loss this week. I will check back Monday on my weigh in.  I do measurements again then too.
