Bleh...

Gotta get back on the bandwagon.  My knee is giving me fits and Dave hurt his back.  Always something messing up our fitness goals.  But... we will prevail.  lol.

Anyhow, I found a bit of humor today.  For those of you on FB... this is quite common with people and I can't help but laugh.

I guess if your running... your still burning calories... or in this case I guess not.

Health low fat foods I love

I am bound and determined to do it this time.  And... I would like more then anything to kick my husband's ass in this contest.  Winner gets the new I-phone.  (I have wanted one for a couple years now).

 Tilapia, veggies and brown rice.

Turkey meatballs with veggies (great protein source). Awesome for snacks.

Pre-made meals.  Chicken and rice or veggies.  Portion control

Best dressing ever.  Only 5 calories and low sugar and sodium

I have a couple Mrs.  Dash seasonings now, but they are a most for the lift style change.

Egg White omelet with spinach and some onion or peppers.  Sometimes I add salsa.

Updates

Still haven't been smoking!! Go ME!!!!

Dave and I are for sure doing the Surf City half.  No backing out now.  We're in it to do it!!

So yesterday to start off,  we did a walk run of 4.5 miles ( more running then walking) and today we did a 10.5 miles bike ride.

Tomorrow I am doing a 2 mile run and then a YOGA class.

Dave and I are in a Biggest loser contest with each other.  Who do you think will win?  Our date for the end of the contest is Jan. 1st 2012.  So we are doing it during the hardest time of the year and I love to bake and share goodies, so this will be tough, but I will do it.

Night all.

Another status I saw on FB that really hit home...

It's so sad that some people don't have enough confidence in

themselves that they have to make other people feel bad to make

 them self feel better....

That's why you get rid of THOSE people. I've done it.  They will

always struggle with this no matter who they are and it's not worth

letting them bring you down.  They are typically superficial and

materialistic people. Who wants those in their life?
